Daily Envelopes!

Each year I send home a DailyEnvelope.  It has important papers"Keep" bookshomework assignments and notes from the teacher.  Parents are encouraged to send notes to school about bus changes, lunch money, etc., in the envelope. It is checked each morning as students arrive, and will be sent home in backpacks every evening. Kindergarten children are some of the most dependable people I know, so please help them remember to keep the folder in their backpacks each and every day.

At the end of each week, students who have

remembered to bring daily folders will get a sticker or small prize for being RESPONSIBLE.

Please read the following rules with your child.

Your help in accomplishing this daily task will help all of us stay informed!

Thank you!     Mrs. Hufstedler

Daily Envelope Rules:

1.  Always bring your Daily Envelope to school every day.

2. Keep your Daily Envelope clean.

3. Remember to take papers out that are to stay at home!

4. If you need to go home a different way, have mom or dad

to put a note to the teacher in your Daily Envelope.

5.  Every day, show your parents your Daily Envelope

so they can see how responsible you are too!

Things NOT to do:

1.  Never leave your Daily Envelope at day care or

at grandma’s house.   Always bring it home so it can

come with you to school the next day.

2.  Never eat or drink near your Daily Envelope.

3.  Never draw or write on your Daily Envelope.

4.  Never let someone play with your Daily Envelope.

Always remember to check for homework.  You may find:

Monday-Refrigerator Story for your child to read to you.  Sign and return it for a sticker or small treat!

Tuesday-Take home Phonics Reader for your child to read to you.  This will come back home to put in the Keep Box.

This booklet is very important because it has our current sight words.

Homework must be returned by Friday each week with signatures in order for your child to receive a sticker or treat.
